Off-road Recovery and Safety Ladies Retreat



This retreat is for women off-road enthusiast looking to their off-road driving skills and learn techniques to stay safe outdoors.

Topics include:

  • Technical driving
  • Recoveries
  • Trail repairs and maintenance
  • First aid
  • Trauma care
  • Gear selection

Space is limited to 10 vehicles with drivers and up to two additional occupants for each vehicle. Vehicle can be any reliable 4×4 SUV, SUT, or truck with:

  • 2-speed 4×4 transfer case (must be able to shift into a 4-Low gearing)
  • Full-size spare tire
  • Full tank of gas
  • Seat belts for all passengers
  • No fluid leaks
  • Excellent mechanical condition
  • Vehicle must be street legal

When: Oct. 24 & 25, 2020

Attendees are to arrive the afternoon of the 24th to setup camp and enjoy community together.

Training begins at 8:00 am with cowboy coffee provided. Lunch will be provided on-site.

Where: Near Kansas City, MO (location will be shared with confirmed attendees 30 days prior to the event)

Facility has established restroom and shower.

Camping is primitive.

Campfire provided.

We encourage all attendees to bring any recovery gear they currently own to discuss, but also ask to not buy any gear in preparation. This is requested to help attendees not buy unnecessary/unsafe gear and provide guidance on what gear should be purchased.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the event, refunds for cancellations after Oct 15, 2020 will only be eligible for only 25% of the registration fees.
